Bonnie Medlin, Owner & Dance Instructor

Bonnie graduated from Chowan University in 2010 with a degree in Business Administration.  Bonnie began dance at the age of 5 at Given's Dance Studio and continued with it for 15 years under the instruction of Janice Given.  She continued dance as she entered college as captain of the dance team her freshman year.  Along with the dance team, Bonnie did choreography for several pageants at Chowan and for several solos of her classmates and peers.  She has choreographed many dances for contestants performing in Junior Miss, Chowan's Womanless Fashion Show, Chowan's Praise Team, and senior solos.

Bonnie was an assistant dance instructor for 8 years and knew it was time to pursue her own dream of dance.  She has studied tap, jazz, lyrical, ballet, pointe, clogging, hip-hop, jazz, gymnastics, cheer, line dancing, and praise/worship. Bonnie is eager to share her love of dance with you and have you as a part of her studio family

Kim Wheeler, Dance Instructor

Kim Wheeler became a part of our studio family seven years ago when she started dancing. She started as a dance assistant six years ago and discovered her passion for dance along the way. Her favorite styles of dance is jazz and tap and you can definitely tell that when you see her grace the stage. Kim has taken on being head instructor of all adult dance classes. We are thankful for God connecting our lives and are excited to see how God is going to use Kim in the growth of our studio.

"I love dancing because no matter how bad my day is before I get to dance it all just goes out the window because dance is my stress reliever. It makes my day to help coach and teach students of all ages reach their dance goals." -Kim Wheeler

Dakota Echerd,  Dance Instructor

Fulfilling her dream, Dakota loves being a dance teacher and prays all her students feel comfortable and loved.

Outside of dance, Dakota treasures spending time with her family, baking, exploring the Great Smoky Mountains, and eating Chick-fil-A!
